I see you will be visiting “The Cafe” in Menlo Park. Hope you get to talk with John Ortberg – he’s one of my favorite authors/preachers. You and he should tour the U.S. together. You’d be a great pair and the States would be better for it. Maybe ask Adrian Plass to join you – he hasn’t toured the U.S, yet.

Hi Steve,
I’m a Canadian living in California and I’m on staff at Menlo Park Presbyterian Church. I’m so excited that you will be visiting our church next month! While I was home visiting family in December, I had the great pleasure of attending your concert with the Kitchener Symphony Orchestra. I can trully say that it was one of the most memorable worship experiences of my life. The songs “Magnificat” and “Peace Be Unto You” were lovely, transcendent moments of serenity that I badly needed, so thank for that! Hope that I can meet you when you come to Menlo Park – maybe you can help me convince my co-workers that I am pronouncing the word “out” according to the Queen’s English. They seem to think I’m saying “oot”! (eh!).
Blessings to you,
Nancy Aird
P.S. It would be so cool if you could sing “The Lorica” during one of our services, as it’s one of my favorites. I often play it in my car on the way to work to prepare for another wonderful (and sometimes wacky) day of ministry!
