Steve Bell Music Rights
Performances and recordings of Steve’s music are now covered under C.C.L.I. licensing. For those of you who are not C.C.L.I. licensed, rights to use Steve’s music may be purchased through Signpost Music.
There are two kinds of licensing available.
Church Music Rights:
These rights give your organization or church, for the one time fee of $100.00 (Canadian Churches add 7% GST) unlimited use of any or all songs written by Steve Bell for the life of your Church or organization. Use includes photocopies, copies for overhead projection, in-house songbooks, and in-house performances.
This agreement does not entitle the licensee to audio duplication or broadcast.
All copyright remains the property of Signpost Music.
To register print out two copies of Church Music Rights and mail with your payment.
Mechanical Rights:
These rights give you the right to manufacture or duplicate one of Steve’s songs as performed by an artist other than Steve. The fee is 8.5 cents per copy manufactured (not sold), payable to Signpost Music. For example if you want to record a version of Steve’s song and manufacture 1000 tapes or CD’s, the fee would be $85.00. There is however a minimum fee of $45.00 for any license under 500 copies.
