Have you thought about hosting a Steve Bell concert?
If you are a zealous Steve Bell fan, it is not as difficult as you might think.
Signpost Music makes it easy. All we need is your commitment to promote the event to your people. Think of this as a partnership. We give you the “How To Kit” and guide you along right up to the time when Steve takes to the stage.
How Does It Work?
Steve travels every second weekend year-round and usually does three concerts: Fri/Sat/Sun. We need three potential concerts in an area to plan a trip. If an enthusiastic fan expresses interest in hosting a concert we send you a Concert Inquiry Pack, put you in our database, and when a potential date becomes available Dave Zeglinski—our Concert Administrator—will call and offer the date (usually within the year).
- Solo Concert. A typical Steve Bell concert consists of Steve singing songs and telling stories from his latest album, yet including many old favourites. No concert is ever the same.
- Psalms Concert. Throughout his career, Steve has written many psalms-themed songs. Seventeen of these are part of I Will Not Be Shaken, the CD and accompanying book written by Jamie Howison and Steve Bell. A typical psalms concert concentrates on Steve’s psalm-songs and stories. The audience generally picks their favourite songs, and Steve will sing and tell the corresponding stories.
- Pilgrim Year Conference. Steve’s lifetime of experience writing and speaking about the spirituality of the Christian calendar year have been fashioned into a day-long conference called Pilgrim Year. An event in your community would include a full-length evening concert followed by a day of four key-note sessions interspersed with music and fellowship.
- Speaking Engagements. Steve is increasingly being invited as a guest speaker/lecturer (with his guitar always close at hand!) for both private and public functions, be they for denominational gatherings, staff retreats, lecture series, university courses, etc. Depending on the theme of your event and the number of sessions required, Steve is adept at tailoring his musical and story-telling offerings to suit.
